Rite Foods, Dynaspo Partner to Nurture Nigeria’s Young Swimmers
Rite Foods Limited, makers of Bigi, Sosa, and Fearless, has joined forces with Dynaspo to support the Dolphin Swimming League, a platform dedicated to discovering and nurturing young swimming talents in Nigeria.
The partnership was officially announced at a press briefing held at Rite Foods’ office in Lagos.
League Coordinator, Mr. Oyebode Oluseyi, highlighted the steady growth of the competition, noting that it has expanded from four to eight events, with clear distinctions between elementary and secondary school categories. The league now features longer races ranging from 200m to 400m and currently works with 13 schools, with plans to partner with more clubs nationwide.
Mr. Oyebode explained that the league was designed to be inclusive, giving opportunities to young swimmers regardless of their background or whether they come from riverine areas. He also acknowledged challenges faced over the years and shared how they are being addressed.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ruth Mark, Brand Manager of Sosa Fruit Drinks, said the partnership is aimed at promoting athletes, students, and youth development. She stressed that the Sosa brand remains committed to supporting education and strengthening the family unit.
Corporate Communications Manager of Rite Foods Limited, Olukemi Ogunsakin, emphasized that the initiative will foster growth in four key areas: environment, education, youth empowerment, and community development.
Mr. Oyebode, who previously served as Head of Sports at Greensprings Schools, expressed gratitude to Rite Foods Limited and Sosa Fruit Drinks for backing the league’s vision.
The collaboration ceremony was attended by representatives of Sosa Fruit Drinks, Team Dynaspo, and members of the media.
