Carloha Nigeria is participating in the 2026 Chery International User Summit in Wuhu, China, where the global automaker is showcasing its latest innovations in intelligent mobility, electric vehicles, automotive safety and sustainable transportation.

The summit, which commenced on October 18 and runs until October 24, has brought together vehicle owners, international media representatives and industry partners to explore emerging automotive technologies and the future of vehicle ownership.

Organised around the theme, “Together. For Family,” the event features intelligent parking demonstrations, vehicle safety tests, electric mobility innovations and customer engagement programmes designed to highlight developments shaping the automotive industry.

Speaking on Carloha Nigeria’s participation, the company’s Managing Director, Sola Adigun, said the summit provides an opportunity to connect Nigerian motorists with Chery’s global technological advancements.

“Carloha’s participation in the Chery International User Summit underscores our commitment to connecting Nigerian customers with Chery’s global advancements in automotive technology, intelligent mobility and customer-focused innovation.

“As the automotive industry continues to evolve, we remain focused on translating these developments into practical mobility solutions that meet the needs of Nigerian consumers,” Adigun said.

He added that the gathering would enable Carloha to engage with Chery’s global strategy and explore how emerging technologies and customer experience initiatives could address the changing needs of Nigerian motorists.

One of the major attractions at the summit is Chery’s Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) technology, which incorporates intelligent parking and vehicle-summoning functions to simplify everyday driving.

The SIVP Smart Parking Carnival, scheduled for October 23, will recreate common urban driving situations, including commuting, school pick-ups, shopping and parking in confined spaces.

The programme also features multi-model test drives across different road conditions and a full-vehicle crash test under the CHERY Brand Safety Challenge. The demonstrations are designed to showcase vehicle structural integrity and occupant protection under specified test conditions.

The summit is also providing international exposure for CHERY Q, the automaker’s all-electric model, through a dedicated programme for global media representatives and users.

The presentation forms part of Chery’s broader efforts to expand its electric vehicle portfolio and explore new possibilities in intelligent mobility.

Beyond electric vehicles, the company is showcasing developments in artificial intelligence, connected mobility and embodied robotics, including applications in manufacturing, commercial services and everyday life.

The initiatives reflect Chery’s ambition to extend its operations beyond conventional vehicle manufacturing into a broader technology-driven mobility ecosystem.

For Carloha Nigeria, participation in the summit reinforces its commitment to connecting the Nigerian market with Chery’s evolving product portfolio, technological developments and customer-focused philosophy.

As Nigerian motorists increasingly consider affordability, safety, reliability and after-sales support when purchasing vehicles, the company says it remains focused on delivering value throughout the ownership journey.

Its initiatives include CarlohaCare, an after-sales support programme designed to provide customers with benefits beyond the initial vehicle purchase.

Carloha’s General Manager, Marketing, Felix Mahan, said Chery’s family-centred philosophy aligned with the company’s commitment to providing practical mobility solutions.

“Chery’s ‘Together. For Family’ philosophy reflects our belief that automotive innovation must deliver tangible value to customers.

“From intelligent parking and enhanced safety features to electric mobility, Chery’s innovations demonstrate how technology can make every journey safer, smarter and more convenient,” Mahan said.

He added that Carloha would continue to strengthen Chery’s relevance in Nigeria by highlighting the practical benefits of its vehicles and building lasting relationships with customers through meaningful brand experiences.

Carloha Nigeria continues to expand its portfolio of premium sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), supported by an after-sales service structure aimed at improving customer satisfaction.

Central to this strategy is the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 ownership package, which offers a six-year vehicle warranty, six years of complimentary scheduled servicing covering labour and genuine parts, and a seven-day repair promise.

Under the repair promise, customers are provided with a courtesy vehicle when repairs extend beyond seven days.

The company also offers CarlohaCare 6-6-7 Rescue, a 24-hour emergency roadside assistance service available nationwide for Chery owners, with limited support extended to motorists using other vehicle brands.

According to Carloha, the initiatives are designed to reduce ownership costs, improve convenience and provide motorists with greater confidence throughout the period of vehicle ownership.

The company said its continued engagement with Chery’s global operations would help it understand emerging automotive trends and identify developments that could be adapted to the Nigerian market.

Beyond vehicle demonstrations, the summit features customer engagement programmes, family-focused storytelling and sustainability initiatives.

Chery’s Ride Green Life initiative brings together user representatives and ecosystem partners to promote environmentally responsible lifestyles and low-carbon living.

The automaker is also highlighting its activities in environmental conservation, education and community welfare, including collaborations with international organisations such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Through these programmes, Chery aims to demonstrate how technological innovation, environmental responsibility and customer participation can contribute to the future of mobility.

For Carloha Nigeria, participation in the summit provides an opportunity to strengthen its relationship with Chery while identifying innovations that address the practical needs of Nigerian individuals and families.

The summit’s “Together. For Family” theme underscores Chery’s ambition to make mobility smarter, safer and more sustainable while strengthening relationships with customers across its international markets.
