No fewer than 20,000 innovators, policymakers, regulators, creators, investors, and professionals will converge at the 8th edition of the Nigeria Fintech Week (NFW25) to explore how financial technology is reshaping every facet of the economy—from healthcare and agriculture to transport, entertainment, media, and education.

The conference, scheduled for October 7–9, 2025, across Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu, with global hybrid participation, will run under the theme “The Fintech Ecosystem Symphony: Orchestrating Nigeria’s Digital Future.”

Vice president of the Fintech Association of Nigeria (FinTechNGR), Dr. Jameelah Sharrieff-Ayedun, said the theme underscores fintech’s evolution from niche financial solutions to a central driver of Nigeria’s economic transformation.

“From enabling micro-insurance in healthcare, powering credit for smallholder farmers, boosting the creator economy with seamless payouts, to making retail and transport transactions safer and traceable—fintech is the conductor of our economic orchestra,” she noted.

According to her, this year’s edition will introduce a reimagined conference format with multiple simultaneous tracks tailored for ecosystem players, including policymakers, corporates, SMEs, youth, and innovators. “Our digital future only works when every instrument in the orchestra plays in harmony,” she added.

The event will feature over 20 thematic tracks, global networking sessions, and investment opportunities with regulators such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), among others.

Organisers said registration is free but highly competitive, with priority access for early registrants given the expected surge in demand across specialised sessions.
